Countryside Discovery Residentials

2-4 night stays discovering how the British countryside is connected to all our lives including the food we eat

We organise countryside residential visits in Sussex, Cumbria and the Yorkshire Dales.

These 2-4 night visits give children the chance to be fully immersed in the wonders of the countryside, exploring farms, woodland, rivers and the beach.

These visits enable children to experience the countryside in all its wonderful diversity. Every trip is filled with a mix of wild adventures like pony trekking, a boat ride or den building; and simple pleasures like sitting around a campfire, tasting fresh produce straight from the field, running through long grass or seeing the night sky in all its glory.

How our Countryside Discovery Residential programme supports teachers and their pupils:

✔ We organise everything, the coach, the accommodation, the activities and then send you everything you need to know in an easy-to-access teachers pack.

✔ We fundraise to subsidise 25% of the cost of the total residential and our longstanding relationships with our partners ensure that we can keep our costs as low as possible.

✔ Country Trust Coordinator support, in the lead-up and on select days during your residential to help deliver sessions and make sure the whole experience goes smoothly.

✔ Additional support to help you communicate with parents and make the most of the experience before and after your visit.
