The Country Trust provides unforgettable food, farming and the countryside experiences and learning opportunities to children who might otherwise never have a chance to discover the natural world - the source of life.
Through farm visits, residential trips, and innovative food discovery projects, our national team of expert Coordinators equip young people with confidence and curiosity, helping them to feel more connected to their environment and more powerful in their lives and their choices. But to keep these transformative programmes going, our work relies on the generosity of supporters.
An easy way you can support The Country Trust without spending a penny more is by using Give as you Live and Easyfundraising when you shop online. By simply signing up and selecting The Country Trust as your chosen charity, a percentage of each purchase you make through these platforms will be donated directly to the charity—at no additional cost to you!

How Give as you Live and Easyfundraising Work
Both Give as you Live and Easyfundraising work with thousands of popular retailers, from Amazon and eBay to John Lewis and Marks & Spencer. Every time you shop through their portals, a portion of your purchase price is donated to The Country Trust. It’s as simple as shopping for your everyday needs, but with the added benefit of helping children connect with nature.
Give as you Live: Give as you Live partners with over 6,000 stores, offering a variety of categories from fashion and tech to home essentials and groceries. After you sign up and choose The Country Trust as your charity, all you need to do is shop through the Give as you Live website or app, and a percentage of your total will go directly to The Country Trust.
Easyfundraising: Similarly, Easyfundraising has over 7,000 participating retailers. Once registered, you can shop online through Easyfundraising’s portal, and a donation will be made to The Country Trust on your behalf. Many users find it helpful to install Easyfundraising’s browser extension, which automatically reminds you to donate when you visit a participating site.
How Your Donations Make a Difference
The Country Trust’s programmes offer hands-on, real-world opportunities for primary age children to gain first-hand experience of where and how our food is grown, feel the joy of running in open countryside, taste freshly picked produce and discover how our health and the health of the planet are connected.
There’s a growing demand from primary schools across England and Wales, with a high percentage of pupils on free school meals or with special educational needs, to access our food and farming programmes, on farms and in classrooms; unprecedented in our 46-year history.
